Time to channel your inner Ross Geller! Starting mid-February, you can marvel at life-sized dinosaurs in the Zoo's stunning glass Biodome. These prehistoric giants are sticking around for six weeks – until the end of March – as a part of an epic new exhibition. But that's not all: you can also dive into VR adventures, themed screenings, and lectures, promising a fun day out with the family.

From 14 February to 30 March, life-sized dinosaurs won’t just be a London Natural History Museum thing! These massive prehistoric reptiles are moving into the Budapest Zoo for six weeks, where you can admire them up close under the Biodome.

The impressive glass structure is a fitting home for the prehistoric exhibition, bringing the long-lost world of the Mesozoic era to life with realistic, moving dinosaur models. Plus, the space will also host screenings, lectures, and VR games.

The exhibition will feature both famous and lesser-known dinosaur species. Thanks to the collaboration between the Hungarian Dinosaur Foundation and the Zoo Foundation, even dinosaurs whose fossils were discovered in the Carpathian Basin will make an appearance. Beyond dinosaurs, you can also see other prehistoric creatures, including flying reptiles. The experience is further enhanced with VR technology, an interactive dig site, and various educational programs that bring the prehistoric world to life.

Advance tickets for the exhibition cost 4,800 HUF for full-price admission and 3,400 HUF for discounted entry. For children under 2, you need to get a baby ticket, priced at 400 HUF. Find more details about the exhibition (translated along the lines of Prehistoric Tour 16) and snag tickets here.
